Joe Anders of Easley, South Carolina, won the BFL South Carolina Division’s final qualifying event at Lake Murray with 10 bass weighing 43 pounds, 1 ounce over two days.
Major League Fishing’s September 21 report lists his payout at $10,180, including a $7,000 Phoenix bonus. Anders described building his limits by moving between schools early, then finding important afternoon bites around hydrilla on the lower end of the lake.
