Kaden Mueck finished the BFL Cowboy Division season with a decisive win at Sam Rayburn Reservoir. MLF's September 14 results report lists his two-day, 10-bass total at 49 pounds, 14 ounces. Wyatt Frankens finished second with 39 pounds, 2 ounces; Haydan Marshall took third with 39 pounds.
Mueck concentrated on a short stretch between Black Forest and Caney Flats, using jighead minnows around feeding bass. His account in the official report emphasized staying with that area even when baitfish were slow to appear on the second morning.
The event also closed the division's season-long points races. Frankens secured boater Angler of the Year, while Jacob Smith earned the co-angler title. Charlie Saucier won the tournament's co-angler competition with 15 pounds, 14 ounces. Those are separate achievements: the tournament winners and season champions should not be confused when reviewing the finale.
