Wilson Burton of Findlay, Ohio, won the BFL Michigan Division finale on the Detroit River with 46 pounds, 10 ounces, finishing six ounces ahead of runner-up Jesse Hickman’s 46-4.
Major League Fishing’s September 21 recap lists Burton’s catch as 10 bass over two days and his payout as $6,120, including a $2,500 Phoenix bonus. Josh Kolodzaike finished third with 43-8.
